Christians have been called upon to live righteous lives to enable them find favour with God.
The Senior Pastor in charge of ECWA Church, Jikwoyi Abuja, Reverend Shaibu Zarmai made the call in an exhaltation at the burial service of the Retired Executive Director Programmes of Radio Kogi, Mr Paul Akuh at Ojaji, Omala Local Government Area.
Quoting from Acts of the Apostles and Hebrews, the Clergyman said God is no respecter of anybody hence the need to prepare for death.
Reverend Zarmai described the Late Broadcaster as a humble Christian who while on the sick bed still paid his thithe into the account of the church and advised the congregation to always sow seeds.
Speaking on behalf of serving and retired staff of Radio Kogi, a Former Secretary to the Corporation, Alhaji Suleiman Ibrahim described the Late Broadcaster as a committed Officer who added value to Programming on Radio Kogi and wished him eternal bliss.
In a vote of thanks, a brother of the deceased, Dr Yahaya Akuh expressed gratitude to God for His Mercies and thanked all those who
gave massive support to the family for a successful burial.
The burial was attended by Old students of St. Charles college ,Ankpa, a Former Director Engineering of Radio Kogi, Mr Joseph Umoru, friends and well wishers from within and outside Kogi State.
