Children Day Celebration: The Bridge Inspire Foundation celebrate with Orphans in Lokoja.


 

The soul they said is healed by being with Children. 27th of May across the nation has being dedicated for the identification and celebration of love, care, motivation and inspiration for Children all over the country. In Lokoja, the Bridge Inspire Foundation; a Non-governmental organisation identified with Children at the Ministry of Mercy Orphanage home to celebrate this year Children Day.

 

 

The team which was led by the State Coordinator and Program Lead Kareem Onivehu while addressing the home said BIF has being a mind capturing organization who has being impacting lives positively through soft and tangible efforts to girl child, children, women and youths in the society. He said the team deemed it significant to visit the home so as to further instil the hope of a positive future for the children, ensuring them that there are certain groups if not all in the society who celebrate their existence more despite their origin and irrespective of their state now.

He also expresses the goodwill messages from the Executive Director of the organization; Mrs. Bridget Awele Popoola, whom he said is driven with immerse passion to see that every child has equal rights to a great future and calls on everyone to take responsibility of the protection of the child rights bill in every states in Nigeria.

 

While appreciating the NGO, Mr Yakubu who is the representative of MOM orphanage home in Lokoja expressed his profound gratitude to the foundation. He stated that “NGOs such as the Bridge Inspire Foundation, are the reasons the home still stands and able to draw more strength in taking good care of the children”.

The NGO presented among others foodstuffs, drinks, writing and drawing materials, cake for the home and also engaged the children in painting, singing, story telling and art work so as to cheer them up.
