Chieftaincy Titles: Provost College of Nursing & Midwifery Felicitates With Pharm Asuku, Alhaji Jibrin, Dr. Ogbo, Alhaji Friday


 

Says the honour is merited, well deserved.

 

The Provost, Kogi State College of Nursing & Midwifery, Obangede, Mrs. Hannah Abraham has sent a message of Congratulations to the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Government, Pharm. Abdulkareem Asuku, Alh. Jibril Momoh, the State Accountant General, Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Dr. Usman Salisu Ogbo, and Hon. Friday Idachaba on the auspicious occasion of the conferment of prestigious Chieftaincy titles on them by HRM Mathew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa, Attah of Igala.

Mrs. Hannah in a message issued to newsmen in Idah today congratulated the recipients for the well deserved conferment of  the  Chieftaincy titles by the Ata Igala.

While she described the mentioned recipients as worthy of the conferment having distinguished themselves in there various field of endeavors and services to the State and humanity at large, urged them to see the honour coming from the Ata Igala as a fiat accomplish and a reason to do more.

Mrs. Hannah appreciated the contributions of the recipients in promoting peace between different tribes, religion and cultures in Kogi State, lauded their relentless efforts in the pursuit of unity for the people of Kogi state irrespective of religion, creed, and political party differences, a feat that makes the honour bestowed upon them as worthy of the Chieftaincy titles.

The Provost appreciated His Royal Majesty, the Atta Igala for the rare honour and recognition accorded to the recipients, wished him a very peaceful reign ahead.

According to the Provost, ” It is important to place on record that the one year on the throne of his forefathers has no doubt brought about peace and development in Igala kingdom, prayed for many years of prosperity for the Igala kingdom and for the Royal Father.”

The provost prayed for more years of fruitfulness and celebration for the Paramount Ruler, as well as the recipients, wished them well in there future endeavors.
