January 8, 2024, will remain indelible in the mind of the staff of the 21 local government councils in kogi state when the news of the appointment of an AMAZON, Prudent Chief Dr. Habitat Oyiza Tijjani as Accountant General of kogi state was announced by the kogi state government. Within a twinkle of eyes, the news got circulated the nooks and crannies of kogi state. The staff of the Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs where she held sway as the Permanent Secretary were not left out in the celebration of the iconic Accountant whose financial pedigree has earned her enviable positions at both local and state levels. It is not hidden that Dr. Habitat Oyiza Tijjani demonstrated zeal, hardwork and honesty since her employment into the services of okene local government area. The tenacity and alacrity through which Dr. Habitat Oyiza as she is popularly called earned her elevation and appointment as the Treasurer to Okene LGA in 2016. This AMAZON prudently has served in many capacities with various work schedules within and outside okene LGA too numerous to mention here. In spite of her work schedules as the Chairperson of the Kogi State Local Government Treasurers Forum then, Hajia Habitat Oyiza remained visible and impact felt both at the state and local government levels. She has carved inch for herself as a focused, undaunted and workaholic officer who has earned her elevations and promotions. Hajiya Habitat Oyiza remained focus for a better local government administration in kogi state. The profile of Dr. Habitat Tijjani was a distinguishing manifest. The rising trajectory of her track record of success is not an exaggeration to state that her enviable record as administrator Cum financial adviser to the then Okene LGA Administrator and Chairman were glaring as Okene LGA financial records became reference point between 2016 to 2020. Based on her intimidating financial record, the kogi state government decided to tap from her wealth of experience that earned her appointment and elevation to the status of Director, Finance and Accounts, Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs. Hajiya Habitat solitude of mind with clear focus has earned her accolades across borders. Her ingenuity in her professional callings earned recognition and confererment of Chieftaincy title as YEYE ATULUSE OF KIRI KINGDOM in Kabba/Bunu LGA. Today, Chief Habitat Tujjani is recognized and called OLOYE OF KIRI KINGDOM. This is different from numerous honours Awards bestowed on this prudent AMAZON that has become rising star in kogi state public and civil services. As she is not done yet, Chief Habitat continues to be watershed and a reference point to many people and her admirers. Chief Habitat inroad into the women association has endeared her humanitarian services to other women not in her association.
