It has come to our notice that the yuletide season in some part of Ane’Igala witnessed a new style of violence and propaganda championed by a weaker sect of politicians working for the interest of their pockets.
Operation Dago’Kegba is not partisan but we would not hesitate to criticize any outing tantamount of causing uproar in the Igala nation.
From our findings, a reconciliation meeting of the ruling party, All Progressive Congress (APC) turned bloody upon the arrival of the Chairman, Idah Local Government Area, Hon Abu Odoma and his boys. So many attendees sustained varying degrees of injuries as a result of the attack and are presently hospitalized in different medical facilities across the federation.
We are not economical with the truth. We condemn these incessant attack in strong terms and without delay wish to caution and call the embattled Local Government Chairman (Abu Odoma) to order because his outing in recent times is fast becoming double tragedy too many.
We also recall a case of similar attack on the residence of a political bigwig of Idah extraction, Chief Sani Ogu (Gbokeke) of blessed memories where his son, a former commissioner was brutally beaten to pulp and injured in his father’s house for reasons best known to the attackers. A female councilor representing Ajaka ward II also suffered similar fate in the hands of this new class of oppressors.
We wish to reiterate clearly that operation Dago’kegba will not hesitate to employ legal means in conjunction with civil or human rights organizations to tackle any situation aimed at disrupting the peace of Igala Kingdom.
To this end, Hon Abu Odoma should halt all form of political brutalities and embrace good governance at least for the sake of posterity.
Power is transient and nothing last forever!
The peace and unity of Ane’Igala can not be bargained and the policy of Akpa’nẹ anẹ kifu kpa is a task solely confined in the hands of our ancestors.
May peace reign in Igala Kingdom ?
