A two term Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Sunday Karimi has described President Mohammadu Buhari as one Nigerian who has always given his best to the country,
urged Nigerians to continue to support him in his task of building a strong and virile nation.
The former lawmaker who represented Yagba Federal Constituency in the National Assembly between 2011 and 2019 in the House of Representatives made the disclosure at the weekend when he revalidated his Membership of the All Progressives Congress at his Isaba Polling Unit of Ward 1, Odo Egbe in Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State, said no leader has been as selfless and passionate in moving forward the nation like President Mohammadu Buhari.
The former legislator had defected to the All Progressives Congress in the build up to the November 2019 Governorship Election in Kogi State to ensure victory for Governor Yahaya Bello at the poll, lauded the repositioning of the country in the last few years under the President Buhari’s APC leadership.
Hon. Karimi called on all his supporters who are still remaining in other parties to seize the golden opportunity presented by the revalidation to join him in the APC, pointing out that the APC under President Buhari represents the yearnings and aspirations of the people of Nigeria.
Hon. Karimi disclosed that many had joined him to the APC before now, said, ” Now that I have come to terms with the Stark reality that Nigeria is in safe hands under the President Buhari and the APC, I want all those that believe in my leadership and political ideology of development to come to the APC”.
The former lawmaker praised President Buhari, Governor Yahaya Bello and the All Progressives Congress for meeting the socio economic desires of the people , says he has no doubt that they will continue to strengthen the party with open door policies and pragmatic leadership styles.
“I want to commend Governor Yahaya Bello, the leader of our party for making APC the strongest party in Kogi State.
” The Governor has continued to be one of the shining stars of the party at the national level.
“I urge all our people to take this exercise to revalidate their membership very seriously.
“Gov. Bello has continued to make our party attractive to all to come and join”.
” I have no doubt that APC will continue to do well in Kogi State and maintain a strong lead in the centre”.
Our Governor is the Chairman of the Committee to mobilize the youth, women and people living with disabilities. We have to join hands with him to ensure that the exercise is successful, Hon. Karimi maintained.
