The Minister of State for Federal Capital Territory, Hajia Ramatu Tijani Aliyu, has said that President Muhammodu Buhari is resolutely committed to the infrastructural development of the Nation, security and a peaceful co-existence of all the citizens..
The Minister was speaking weekend in Okene, during the confermament of the title of Onyize of Ebiraland on her by the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, His royal Majety Alhaji (Dr.) Ado Ibrahim at his Azad palace.
According to her, the president has been doing his best to tackle insecurity in the country and the decayed infrastructure he inherited on assumption of office in 2015.
While appealing to the citizens to be patient with the administration, she assured that Nigeria would be better off at the end of the tenure of president Buhari
She thanked the Ohinoyi for the honour and promised not to relent in affecting the lives of the people of the area and Nigerians posively.
” This honour would spur me to do more for the people. I looked at it as a call for further action that will positively affect the lives of our citizens posively.
“I am confident that at the end of the tenure of Mr. President, the country would be better positioned for better and effective service delivery.
Speaking earlier, the royal father noted that the title was bestowed on her, in recognition of Hajia Ramatu’s contribution to the development of the area and FCT where she is currently serving as minister of state.
He called on other persons in positions of authority to emulate the minister by contributing positively to the alleviation of the suffering masses in their various communities.
“Government cannot do it alone. All hands must be on deck. I want to use this opportunity to call on all those in position of authority to emulate the minister by contributing to the development of Nigeria and as well touch the suffering masses in their communities.
