The above PDP structure in Ogodu district of Omala Local Government healthy thanked the leadership of His Excellency Alh. Ibrahim Idris the former governor of Kogi State, and Sen. Dino Melaye and the deputy governor Hajia Habiba Muhammed Deen for seeing their sons worthy to serve in Sen. Dino’s campaign structure.
The meeting which took place on the 1st October, 2023 at Lugard Beech Hotel Lokoja. In the cause of the meeting a one minute silent was observed in honour of Late Chief Y. B Agbeyon and Late Emmanuel Akawo Okpanachi (Okpanaga) for their outstanding performance in the party in their days.
At this juncture, the party thanked PDP & Dino Campaign Council for nominating their sons Hon. Akoji Agbeyon into PDP National Campaign Council and Hon. Shittu Idris Haruna as a Secretary in one of the committee in the state campaign council. Also double as the leader of PDP in Ogodu zone.
In the same vein, Hon. Ugnede F. Abimaje was nominated as the coordinator of Ogodu district in Omala Local Government Campaign Council.
They reiterated that Ogodu Zone has never been this favoured this way, this arrangement is a perfect reflection of a round peg in a round hole.
The following were also nominated to coordinate the PDP eldership council in the zone
to further strengthen the campaign structure in the district; Mal. Husseni Uloko (Ogodu).

In view of the above development, the district has pledged their unalloyed support and drive to deliver the party in the coming election come 11th November, 2023.
