The Confluence State, is presently engulfed in tension as anxiety grips some of the All Progressive Aspirants (APC) Governorship Aspirants.
The Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello, according to a source is set to name his preferred choice from among the aspirants juttling to replace him after the expiration of his tenure.
Information gathered by from a reliable source told our correspondent that bearly any last minute change from now, the governor will make his mind known to the aspirants, the APC in Kogi State and the good people of the state.
It would be recalled that some elected and appointed persons got letter of suspension by the Kogi State House of Assembly yesterday due to their inability to deliver their polling units or ward to the rulling party, an act the governor warned against before the 2023 general election.
It is on good authority that, some of the governorship aspirants could not deliver their polling units talk more of contesting for the entire state.
The coming days in kogi politics will be more interesting as political parties has commence screening .
