The Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Engr. Abubakar Ohere has congratulated the Kogi State Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Edward David Onoja, on the occasion of his birthday celebration, describing him as the most dependable, trustworthy ally of Gov. Yahaya Bello.
Sen. Ohere said Chief Edward Onoja has been an exceptionally supportive Deputy Governor who has never given his principal (Gov. Yahaya Bello) and leaders of the All Progressive Congress, APC in the State cause for concern.
Sen. Ohere in his statement said “One will attest to the glory of God, that he is a very dependable Deputy Governor, who has never had any cause to give us concern. You may have heard of other states where the deputies and their governors hardly work together.
“We know of some states that find it difficult to send their deputy to represent them because they are not sure of what their deputy will do. So, they prefer that seat of the state be vacant. But this is not that type of deputy in Kogi State.”
According to Sen. Ohere, the Deputy Governor has shown consistent, commitment, dedication and passion to the goal of making Kogi an enviable State in Nigeria and one admired by the world.
“Again, it is noteworthy that our Deputy Governor has consistently shown beyond every reasonable doubt what a dependable ally in the scheme of progress he is.
“He has always been a loyal team player with fantastic knowledge and managerial skills. His records of service and achievements cannot be under-emphasised and have been sources of encouragement for many.
“We remain proud of him as we wish him more divine knowledge, wisdom and vitality to carry on in the service of God and humanity.
