The Miners Association of Nigeria (Kogi State Chapter) has sent a message of felicitations to Engr. Bashiru Gegu, Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources on the joyous occasion of his birthday anniversary.

Prince Oruma Yunusa, described Engr. Bashiru as a man of uncommon vision, integrity and humility whose exemplary lifestyle continues to inspire many, particularly the Miners Association of Nigeria (Kogi State Chapter).
The Miners Association extolled the sterling qualities of Engr. Bashiru Gegu as Commissioner, described the Commissioner as a jolly good fellow, a detribalised leader who places merit, competence and service above tribal or religious sentiments.
The Miners Association commended the celebrant for his invaluable contributions to the growth and development of Kogi State, especially the Mining sub sector, through his steadfast partnership with His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, in repositioning the Solid Minerals and Natural Resources Ministry.
“We celebrate you today for your worthy and selfless contributions to the development of Kogi State, as well as your enduring commitment to humanity. Your passion for vulnerable and less privileged inspires us deeply in the Miners Association.
