It goes without saying that the immediate past Governor of Kogi State,Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, means so many things to different people.
He is an enigmatic political leader with a cult like followers and large fan-base that cut across the length and breath of Kogi state and beyond.
His style of people- oriented and idea driven politics have earned him both loyal followers and other right thinking kogites and hateful armchair critics and detractors .
True,Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello have been marked down by his traducers to be pilloried with unrelenting bad press, negative criticism and outright campaign of calumny.
These group of negative elements have waged relentless negative media propaganda at all times in an attempt to bring down Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, whose political profile have continued to rise beyond the shores of Kogi state .
It is a matter of bewilderment that even his former Deputy Governor, Chief Simon Achuba is now leading a band of opposition elements that have taken it upon themselves to wage Media war against the former Governor, all in the name of sectional and ethnic political agenda.
It goes without saying that this ethnic agenda have no place again in today,s political firmament in kogi state.
Chief Achuba and his co-travellers like one Austin Okai should be reminded to wake up from their slumber and face the reality that the rest of the state have decided to embrace politics of inclusiveness and good governance in the state.
This new progressive political ideology is what former Governor Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello stands for and indeed bequeathed to the political class, across the three senatorial districts in the state.
This unending Media war against GYB is a waste of time and resources because it is an exercise in futility.
Let the likes of Achuba go and do something positive and lawful to engage their time and stop embarrassing themselves and their families.
Thousands of Achuba and his Co- travellers can not bring GYB down.
The whole world is watching as they continue to revel in anachronistic and outdated politics of vendetta and hateful disposition.
The new political evolution in Kogi state is rooted in consolidation and continuity.
We are in a time for politics of inclusiveness and good governance for the benefits of all Kogites.
The days of ethnic agenda have been consigned to the dustbin of history.
A word is enough for the wise.
