In our usual tradition, Advocacy for Youth Leadership in Government, Nigeria, was at Lokoja, Kogi State capital to bestow an award of excellence on High Chief (Engr) Umar Adoga Yahaya, as the Best Electrical Engineer of the year.
Engr. Umar Adoga Yahaya, is the Director Electrical, Ministry of Works and Transport, lokoja.
The award wasn’t a surprise, as many attested that the recipients have distinguished himself in his professional training as an Electrical Engineer, ranging from light up Kogi East, stepping down of 33kv to many government offices within lokoja and beyond.
In his response, the recipient of the award appreciated the reputable organization for the honour and equally appreciated His Excellency Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, for his passion and prompt attention to the state for making sure that the problem of poor electricity is totally resolved through his office.
The staff of his office were very happy and commended their immediate Boss, urged him to put in more efforts in the discharged of his official duties as more Organizations would still appreciate him through meritorious awards in the days ahead.
