The All Progressives Congress has been asked to adopt Alhaji. Atiku Abubakar as consensus candidate and save the country from political logjam and tension.
Hon. Alfred Bello, Treasurer of the Kogi State PDP made the disclosure in a statement, said what should be the primary objectives of all the parties and Nigerians is good governance, urged the APC to adopt Alhaji Abubakar Atiku.
According to the statement: ” Alhaji Abubakar Atiku candidature is giving APC sleepless night because of his capacity and the general belief that he is the best for the country. There’s Nothing wrong for all the parties in the spirit of togetherness and oneness and the sake of the country” to adopt Atiku as Nigeria president.
” It is unfortunate that the APC is causing unnecessary tension where it ought not to. If the emergence of Alhaji Abubakar Atiku is there fear, I urge them to adopt him as consensus and let peace reign”.
Hon. Alfred said the last seven years is the worst for Nigerians. We cannot continue like this having a party that failed to offer governance and to even conduct its primaries. One therefore wonders if they can conduct the 2023 general election, assured that Alhaji Abubakar Atiku would win convincingly in 2023.
