The Shugaban Afemai Lokoja, Alhaji Zakari Dangana, has tasked Edo State residents in Lokoja to continue to be good ambassadors of the State by ensuring that they are law abiding.
Alhaji Zakari Dangana gave the charge when he received in audience members of the Edo Progressives Movement and Afamai Progressives union in his residence in Lokoja.
The Shugaban described Lokoja as a place that offers opportunities to residents, appealed to them to be law abiding in the course of carrying out their legitimate businesses.
The Shugaban tasked Nigerians to emulate the peaceful coexistence existing amongst the people living in Lokoja, said the Confluence State Capital is a miniature Nigeria expressed satisfaction with the peaceful coexistence in the State.
He described Kogi State as good place to be thanked the Maigarin Lokoja, Alhaji Mohammad Kabir Maikarfi 111, for providing the peaceful environment for indigenes and residents living in Lokoja.
In their separate remarks, the Chairman of Afemai Progressives Union, Mr. P.U. Animazu and Acha Amadin of Edo Progressives Movement, appreciated the Maigarin Lokoja for the recognition, promised to be law abiding and to work within the confines of the law.
