The people of Bassa Local Government Area have been called upon to turn out enmass participate in next month census exercise.
The Aguma of Ozongulo Ward Chief Jonah Isaac Chabani made the call while speaking with News men in his palace at Kpanche Community.
Chief Chabani who is the Clan Head of Ozongulo communities said participation of the people in the ward is sacrosanct to the development of the area.
According to him. Census exercise will enable Government plan for the people to benefit in the leadership of the three tiers of Government in Nigeria.
Chief Jonathan called on the Sons and daughters of Ozongulo ward to mobilize their families for the exercise stressing that Ozongulo communities can not stay behind in the scheme of things.
The traditional ruler appealed to census Officials to maintain transparency, equity during the exercise noting that anything less the Bassa people will not accept the out come of the results during the exercise.
The Clan Head of Ozongulo ward Aguma Jonathan Isaac Chabani appealed to the state government to urgently come to the aid of Bassa people in reducing the insecurity challenges facing the area noting that Bassa kwomu district is in serious need of development.
The Clan Chief Jonathan Also called on the state government to upgrade his domain to second class status and expressed worries on the level of his promotion over time.
According to the Royal father the Oguma Sheria bridge linking one of the major market in the area is cut off over time and challenge the state government to rise to its responsibilities in constructing the bridge and roads of the local government area.
Chief Jonathan called on the Youths of the area to maintain peace and shun vices inimical to the development of the local government Area.
It will be recall that the exercise begins on the third of next month.
