The Executive Secretary of the plateau State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Barrister Auwal Abdullahi has applauded Governor Simon Lalong for his support and roburst Contribution to the plateau State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board and all intending Muslim Prilgrims in the plateau
Barrister Auwal disclosed this to Newsmen in his office recently.According to him, Governor Lalong’s administration since inception has demonstrated sincere Commitments and unprecedented support for Muslim Pilgrims in the state, Stressing that as a non profit making organization as it is”, the Governor was Never deterred in providing funds for the day to day running of the Board and also support for Pilgrims.
Barrister Auwal further assured that, the core mandate for which the board was established would be sustained and pusured with every sincerity and honesty to the service of mankind, also expressing the boards preparedness to mobilize intending Pilgrims in the state for the 2022 visit to the holy Land.
Concerning intending Pilgrims Who were not able to participate in the 2020 and 2021 Haj as a result of the Corona Virus pandemic, the board would ensure that the payment made will be rollover to the 2022 Haj, even as he added that Such persons would be considered first before other intending Prilgrims.
He started further that, in as much as the State Government has done a lot for the Board and Pilgrims,funding still remains the greatest challenge bedeviling the smooth running of the board’s activities.he called on spirited individuals to support the board in whatever ways to the service of God and humanity. ….
