Awomi Movie Premiere Gets Massive Boost, As Kogi Deputy Governor Pledges support


 

Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief Edward David Onoja has given his support to participate as a special guest of honour in forthcoming 10th December, 2022 Awomi Movie Production and royal screening at Ata Igala’ palace, Idah, Kogi State.

 

The Deputy Governor made the disclosure when members of the film project led by Kogi born Nollywood Actor/ Filmmaker Thompson Makolo Jnr paid him a sensitization visit in Lokoja.

Chief Onoja who was elated, commended the efforts of the young talented Kogi born filmmaker, described him as a leading light and an example of productivity in the film industry, said his ideas will add positive impacts to the image of the state, generate revenue and also give the State and IGALA language global recognition.

Chief Onoja called on well meaning sons and daughters of the land, Kogi State government and even friends of the state to key into the programme and many others in the film industry in the state.

The Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Thompson Makolo Jnr appreciated the Deputy Governor for the endorsement and his subsequent approval to be physically present at the occasion, promised to continue making the Igala kingdom, Kogi State and Nigeria proud at any given opportunity.
