ATTA APPLAUDS KOGI STATE GOVT ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF HEALTH INSURANCE FOR VULNERABLES IN KOGI STATE


The newly crowned Atta Igala, His Royal Majesty, Mathew Opaluwa has applauded Kogi State government on the implementation of the health insurance on the vulnerables through the Basic Health Care Provision Fund.
HRM Opaluwa made this known when the Executive Secretary of Kogi State Health Insurance Agency, (KGSHIA) Dr. Adekunle Aledare with his team paid the Atta a sensitization visit on the outreach of the Basic Health Care Provision Fund (BHCPF) on the enrolled vulnerables in all the two hundred and thirty nine wards in Kogi State.
The Atta Igala said when the programme takes off in the year, the suffering vulnerable masses of the rural areas who cannot afford health care will be the greatest beneficiaries.
He thanked the administration of Yahaya Bello and the federal government for bringing the programme to bear on the less privileged in the Society.
HRM opaluwa assured the Executive Secretary that he will ensure that his subjects living in all the wards are sensitized on the benefits of the programme.
Earlier, the Executive Secretary of KGSHIA, Dr. Adekunle Aledare said he was in Atta’s palace to sensitize his subjects on the upcoming take off programme of the Basic Health care Provision Fund on the enrolled vulnerables across the two hundred and thirty nine wards in Kogi State.
Dr. Aledare maintained that upon the take off of the programme this year the enrolled vulnerable persons in each of the ward in the state will access free health care.
The Executive Secretary thanked the Atta Igala for granting them audience and prayed God to grant him a peaceful reign on the throne of his forebearers
