Your Excellency,
We have seen that the pen of history was handed to you, and indeed you have rewriten the narrative of Nigeria’s politics and governance. Thus, this is the reason for this open letter. Over time, there has been an observable absence of leaders in political offices, who have the intention and zeal to uplift the poor masses and develop society in such manner as you do, both at the national and state level, including Kogi State.
The Association of Nigerian Female Students (ANFS) witnessed the breath of free and fair election all through the just concluded election. The introduction of women participation in the electoral circle kept us in sincere gratitude as we are inspired and also sure that this is the end of the girl child degradation. Sir, you have given us voice, your emergence as the Governor of Kogi state is a great opportunity that has redefined humanity with true leadership and governance.
More also, we congratulate you as we celebrate the two women of virtue in person of Hon Omotayo Adeleye Ishaya of Ijumu Local Government Area and Hon Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola of Ibaji Local Government Area who have successfully won the respective elections and have given the Women and the girl child so much inspiration through the leadership of his Excellency Yahaya Adoza Bello of the All Progressive Congress. It is our prayer, like that of many well wishers and lovers of good governance, that the Almighty God, in His infinite mercy, will give you the wisdom and capacity to do greater exploit even beyond the national level.
