Assembly: Yagba West 2023: Karimi Seeks Royal Blessing for APC Aspirant, Yemisi Oshaloto


 

As the race towards the 2023 General Election intensifies, the political stakeholders in Yagba West took the campaign to the Palace of the Elegbe of Egbe and the Traditional Council of Yagba West Local Government to pay homage and seek blessings of the Royal fathers.

Leading the visit is Hon. Sunday Steve Karimi who is also a frontrunner of Kogi West Senatorial aspirant and also an indigent of Egbe. He seek the support and prayers of the Royal Fathers for the aspirant. In his words, “this is your daughter our fathers and I have brought her to you for blessings. We want to set a precedence and make a very strong case for women inclusiveness in Government and we want it to start here in our local government. You know that I have never disappointed you and I will not do so anytime soon. She is from Igbaruku and she will do you proud, I can give you my words for that. As you have supported me, I want you to do so for her. As you have stood by me, I want you to do so to her also.” he concluded.

Reacting to it, the Oba’s gave their words of prayers for her, “you are our son and you can’t request anything from us that we will turn you down because you have always at all times have the progress and development of Egbe your topmost priority. You have stood for us and make us proud and we believe you can never lead us astray. With you, we know that we’re in safe hands and whoever you ask us to support and pray for automatically becomes an Egbe indigene. They prayed for her and and promised their supports.
