APPOINTMENT: GOV. BELLO MOVED ME FROM GRASS TO GRACE – ALIYU PETER A.K.A KURUMA

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has appointed a speech impaired, former staff of Geemony Kleaning Services, Aliyu Peter also known as Kuruma in Government House.

 

The speech impaired young man, when he resigned from the popular Cleaning Service company sometime last year, began to sell call credit cards (Recharge Cards) within the premises, despite his inability to speak nor hear, which got the attention and commendation of Governor Yahaya Bello for his determination to succeed.

Governor Bello who is always watching from afar with keen interest acknowledges every persons’ sincere actions towards whatever they do. He took interest in the case of Peter Aliyu who was a dedicated worker and cleaned offices within and around the government house region.

Governor Bello, who hates human discrimination with passion, then appointed him to become his Special Assistant on Sanitation.

Kuruma, like he is popularly called from every gesture, one could see he was happy, even though he couldn’t speak out and express his thoughts like a normal person, but screamed with joy.

In his signs, he prayed to God to keep the governor and to bless his entire household and cabinet members.

Through his sign language, he could express, many looked down on him and governor Bello picked him from dust, washed him with unconditional love and blessed him with an appointment that ordinarily wouldn’t have been possible.
