Nigerian Ambassador to Germany, Ambassador (Mrs ) Regina I Ocheni has expressed profound appreciation to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State for his support towards her appointment as Career Ambassador.
Ambassador (Mrs )Ocheni gave the commendation today in Abuja when she along with her Husband, Professor Stephen Ocheni paid a thank you visit to Governor Bello.
She maintained that though her appointment is basically career one, “My Governor was very prominent in his supportive role in the entire process “.
Ambassador Regina Ocheni also specially appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari for approving her appointment, noting that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari is gender friendly and should be supported by all.
The Nigerian Deputy Head of Mission to Germany who will soon depart for her place of primary assignment ,thanked the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Godfrey Onyema, management and staff of the Ministry for their support, promised to be their good representative at all times.
Governor Yahaya Bello while receiving the Nigerian Ambassador enjoined her to open investment opportunities for the State in Germany to enable it tap into.
Governor Bello acknowledged the dexterity and administrative acumen of Ambassador Regina Ocheni, wishing her greater success in her diplomatic service to the nation.
