APC’s New Era: Sen. Karimi Hails ‘Peaceful’ Convention, Congratulates New Leadership
Senator Sunday Karimi has congratulated the newly elected National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, and other National Working Committee (NWC) members, following their successful election at the party’s National Convention in Abuja.
Describing the convention as a “major milestone”, Karimi praised the process as “peaceful” and “consensus-driven”, showcasing the party’s unity, strength, and democratic values. He commended party leaders for ensuring a smooth exercise, highlighting the new leadership’s commitment to strengthening the party and advancing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda”.
Karimi lauded President Tinubu’s performance, citing notable progress in economic reforms, infrastructure, and national security. He described the removal of fuel subsidy and foreign exchange unification as “courageous but necessary reforms” driving long-term stability.
The Senator urged the new NWC members to promote inclusiveness, transparency, and dedication, praying for their success as they steer the party forward. He reaffirmed his commitment to working with the party leadership to advance Nigeria’s collective aspirations.
