APC Ward Congress In Kogi LGA Calm, Orderly – Engr. Bashiru Gegu


 

The All Progressives Congress Party Ward Congress holding in Kogi LGA of Kogi State is witnessing calm and peaceful Conduct.

According to Engr. Bashiru Gegu, Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, disclosed that the exercise began on a good note, as party members were seen in Orderly manner, while the distribution of party materials recorded a hitch free process.

The Nigerianpost crew witnessed the presence of the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, who where also on the ground to observe and monitor the exercise.

According to Engr Bashiru, the exercise has been smooth with the atmosphere very calm, described the peaceful exercise as a product of party decision.

He disclosed that the party is adopting the affirmation option in its Ward Congress, described the party’s decision as supreme, lauded the orderliness the exercise is witnessing.

He said aside those who got political appointments, some deceased persons, and those who have left the party that would be replaced, said the exercise is largely to affirm the previous officers for working hard for the party.

The Commissioner commended the people of the area for their peaceful conduct and dispositions to the exercise, appreciated them for accepting the APC as party of choice.

The Commissioner commended Gov Yahaya Bello for the peaceful atmosphere created to ensure a smooth and peaceful Congress in the area.
