Following the nationwide congress held by our party, the All Progressives Congress, APC over the weekend under the leadership of our great leader, His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello, I wish to express my effusive gratitude to all stakeholders concerned.
Starting with the Chairman of our great party, Hon Abdulahi Bello aka Dollar, APC secretariat in Lokoja down to our Local Government Secretariat at Odo – Ere, and across the other LGAs in Kogi State, it was an outstanding outing.
This was made possible by the initiative and leadership of our pacesetting governor whose has a knack for identifying and positioning the best hands in respective areas. More so, his inclusivity of women in governance has been unprecedented and revolutionary.
Permit me to state clearly that women’s performance on the political scene can become robust if the environment is made conducive. Thankfully, my Governor, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Adoza Bello does not only give women highly important assignment in the State, but also provides them with an enabling environment to soar. Many thanks to our dear Excellency.
I would also love to appreciate the Yagba West Committee. The four-man committee worked together harmoniously, as the party leadership ensured a smooth process.
Once again, our party made history, and I’m proud and grateful to be part of it.
