Thugs suspected to be supporters of Engr. Folorunsho Olafemi, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Yagba Federal Constituency in the coming general election has attacked supporters of his opponent, Elder Leke Abejide of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The thugs who were sighted in a branded APC/Engr. Folorunsho Olafemi Volkswagen car were alledged to have attacked the bill boards, posters and other campaign materials of Hon. Makinde Oyebode, the Mopamuro Constituency, KGHA candidate of the ADC and Elder Leke Abejide at 9am on Sunday.
The thugs also harassed Tope David, a front line supporter of the ADC and destroyed his motorcycle.
A ladies support group consisting of Motunrayo Joseph, Damilola Ezekiel, Joy Akanbi etc were also harassed and threatened to leave Mopa for not supporting their candidate.
The APC branded vehicle had suspected thugs who were seen vandalizing the billboards and harassing the supporters of ADC.
