The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Honorable Ahmed Mohammed has
congratulated winners of the All Progressive Congress National Assembly elections held at their respective Federal Constituencies and Senatorial Districts.
In his brief message of felicitation at Idah, shortly after the victory of Sen. Jibrin Isah Echocho, he said the victory is a proof of his positive stewardship to the people of Kogi East, and has again, reaffirmed the general acceptance of our great party, by the great people of Kogi East.
The Deputy Speaker also congratulated the Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Prince Mathew Kolawole on his victory, Hon. Ibrahim Abdullahi Ali Halims and other aspirants who emerge victorious. He advised candidates to begin reconciliation with aggrieved members of the party, and caution strongly against use of the social media by supporters to ridicule or mock other contenders. His words; “For us to have victory at the polls, we must all come together, reconciliation must begin immediately and supporters must take caution. We need each other as a party to win election”.
Rt. HONORABLE AHMED MOHAMMED also hailed his Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello, the Chairmen of LGAs, Security Agencies and party faithful for ensuring a hitch free process.
