Today, we call on the executive governor of Kogi state, Governor Yahaya Bello, to take urgent actions regarding the anti-party activities of the under-listed Yagba West APC stakeholders

As we reported earlier, Honourable Aro’s actions during the 25th February 2023 federal elections and the 18th March Kogi state House of Assembly elections were anti-party, and they have caused significant concern within the APC party leadership.
Governor Yahaya Bello must take swift actions to address this issue and ensure that the party’s values and principles are upheld.
We urge Governor Yahaya Bello to investigate these allegations thoroughly and to take appropriate action against any APC political appointees found to be engaging in anti-party activities.
It is crucial that the APC leadership in Kogi state is united and committed to the party’s vision and values to ensure the party’s success in the state.
As the party leader in Kogi state, we urge you to please take urgent action to address these activities and ensure that party members adhere to the party’s values and principles.
We believe that swift and decisive action is necessary to restore the confidence of party members and the electorate in the APC.
Therefore, we recommend that you take the following actions:
1. Investigate the activities of Honourable Aderonke Aro and other current APC political office holders who have engaged in anti-party activities.
2. Identify the extent of their involvement and the height of damage caused to the party’s interests.
3. Impose appropriate disciplinary measures on any member found to have engaged in anti-party activities.
4. Suspension or expulsion from the party, as well as other sanctions, as deemed necessary.
5. Use Honourable Aderonke Aro and other identified culprits as scapegoats to serve as a deterrent to other party members who may be contemplating similar actions.
6. Organize party meetings and workshops to educate party members on the importance of unity and adherence to party values and principles.
Therefore, we urge you to take appropriate measures to prevent and address anti-party activities that may occur during the forthcoming gubernatorial primary elections. Furthermore, we urge you to work closely with the relevant authorities to investigate any reported cases of anti-party activities and to apply appropriate sanctions to any individuals found guilty of such actions. This will send a clear message that Kogi state APC does not tolerate any form of anti-party activities or misconduct during the forthcoming primary elections.
We believe that these actions if taken swiftly and decisively, will help to restore the unity and cohesion of the party and prevent further damage to the party’s interests. We trust that you will take appropriate action and look forward to seeing the APC emerge stronger and more united in Kogi state.
Furthermore, we call on Governor Yahaya Bello to reaffirm his commitment to the APC party and to ensure that all party members and political appointees in the state are held accountable for their actions. The governor has a responsibility to the people of Kogi state and the APC party to maintain the integrity and credibility of the political process in the state.
