APC MEDIA NETWORK CONGRATULATES PRESIDENT BOLA TINUBU ON THE REOPENING OF THE WARRI REFINERY
We warmly congratulate President Bola Tinubu on the successful reopening of the Warri Refinery, a monumental achievement that underscores his administration’s commitment to revitalizing Nigeria’s oil refining capacity.
For over 40 years, Nigeria’s refineries had been dormant, with billions of naira spent on maintenance while trillions were expended on fuel imports. Many had lost hope, and some even advocated for privatization. However, President Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda has proven skeptics wrong, demonstrating his determination to restore Nigeria’s refineries to their former glory.
The reopening of the Warri Refinery, which will produce 125,000 barrels per day at 60% capacity, follows the successful restart of the Port Harcourt Refinery in November. This milestone’s achievement is a testament to President Tinubu’s leadership and his administration’s comprehensive plan to ensure energy efficiency and security.
Most importantly, the increased refining capacity will lead to a significant reduction in the prices of petroleum products, which will have a positive ripple effect on the cost of living in the country. With lower fuel prices, Nigerians can expect a decrease in transportation costs, food prices, and other essential commodities.
We commend Mele Kyari and his team at NNPCL for their hard work in restoring Nigeria’s national pride and making the country a hub for crude oil refining in Africa. We urge Nigerians to support President Tinubu’s renewed agenda, which promises a brighter future for all.
By 2031, when President Tinubu completes his second term, we are confident that Nigerians will be proud of the progress made under his leadership. Once again, we congratulate President Tinubu on this remarkable achievement and look forward to more milestones in the years to come.
