APC don’t have candidate for kabba/Bunu/ijumu house of representatives – Kogi PDP


 

The Kogi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party says the APC does not have candidate for Kabba Bunu Ijumu Federal Constituency in the forthcoming general election.

 

 

The PDP in a statement said the law is very clear, added that the fact is that APC did not submit name of candidate before the deadline date for submission of candidate.

In a statement signed by Dayo Onibiyo, Director Communication said following a remarks credited to the Governor that Hon. Mathew Kolawole is the APC candidate for Kabba Bunu Ijumu Federal Constituency, warned against subverting the law.

” We advise INEC to strictly adhere to the electoral law and any attempt to subvert justice will be resisted by our party.

 

 

” PDP has always abided by the rules of law and we will not encourage nor be part of any act of constitutional disobedience”.

The PDP warned against subversion of the law said no one is above the law having failed to field a candidate.

While pointing out that it would have loved to use the election to further confirm its supremacy over the APC, described the federal Constituency as a PDP strong hold since the advent of democracy in 1998.

The PDP congratulated it members over the victory in advance, assured that the forthcoming general election in the state would be won overwhelmingly by the PDP.
