It was a day of sober as the good people of Anyigba community reflected on the life and times of late Alhaji Siaka Duche, one time business tycoon and political bulldozer in Kogi East, late Alhaji Siaka Duche as thousands of people came from far and near to witness the 8th day fidau prayers held at Ayigba.
Friends and well-wishers, political associates across party divide came to witness the 8 day fidau and to commiserate with the family and associates he left behind.
One of the deceased’s uncle and the chief of staff to Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, Comrade Isah Daniel popularly called Prof. stated that, he has lost a dear uncle who had stood by him at all times and described his death as a great lost and painful to the good people of Kogi State ,the produce community and the rest of people who have lived with him with his life of magnanimity ,generosity and humility to no fault.
According to Comrade Isah Daniel,the time of his illness and death was too short and shocking , but takes consolation that he lived a fufilled life worthy of emulation and encouraged the young ones not to look for quick means of getting rich,but rather they should embrace hard work just like the deceased late Alhaji Siaka Duche.
He said from God we came and unto him we shall return ,but no body knows the time and prayed for the repose to rest in perfect peace.
Comrade Isah Daniel used the opportunity to appreciate his friends and well-wishers who came from far and near to commiserate with him and all members of the family at this period of grief and wishes them safe journey back to their various destinations.

Biography of late Alhaji Siaka Duche are as follows:
Alhaji Siaka Duche was born on the 10th day of January,1970 to the family of late Mallam Siaka Omaja Akagwu of Ofuloko area, Anyigba,Dekina LGA of Kogi State.
Alhaji Ibrahim Siaka (Aka) Duche was a business tycoon and political bulldozer,he was the Managing Director and Chief Executive officer Dusak Global Services.
Young and promising Duche had his elementary education at CMML primary school at Anyigba.
Thereafter, he gained admission to Our Lady of School , Anyigba for his junior secondary education, he later proceeded to Community Secondary School, Araba Salifu in Biraidu District, Abocho, Dekina LGA of Kogi State, where he completed his secondary school education and obtained his senior secondary school certificate.
All his hope and aspiration to acquire further education was to no avail due to some challenges.
Alhaji Duche as a young man who was raised from a humble and principled background passed through alots of difficulties,yet he overcame many of these challenges and that made him to be part of every struggle for the emancipation of humanity.
He started self hustling from pushing wheel barrows in Anyigba market to shoe shiner and later to the sales of sugar cane all of these for self reliance.
These menial jobs kept him going until he started loading and off-loading grains at various markets in Kogi East.
In the early nineties,he became the Chairman of Loaders Association, Anyigba chapter, the position he held before he started buying grains across various market in the state.
This business adventure gave birth to Dusak Global Services, the household name of his company that is presently trading in the supply of palm Kernel, grains, cashew and haulage services to mentioned but a few.
His entire life was characterised by lessons for other generation never to give up in the struggle for self reliance and dedication which made him excel excellently well.
As a result of his passion for hard work, Alhaji Siaka Duche raised many young men and women in various areas of business irrespetive of tribes through financial support to enable them have food on their tables.
He equally employed many young men and women in his company.
In 2008 to 2011, he served as National vice president of National cashew association of Nigeria (NCAN), the association that enhances policy that better the life of farmers and traders in the face of unemployment challenges in the country.
According to our source, from 25th January,2020 to 2nd January,2021, Alhaji Ibrahim Siaka Duche also served as Chairman of National Cashew Association of Nigeria,(NCAN),Kogi State chapter
As a result of his consistency , commitments and dexterity,he was also elected as chairman License Buying Agents (LBA)Kogi State chapter from 2012 till his death.
As part of his corporate social responsibiliies, Alhaji Ibrahim Siaka Duche gave out hybrids of already planted cashew and seedlings to farmers around his locality to enhance their production for international patronage and standard.
He also helped less privilege and others who need financial assistance especially by paying school fees and provision of scholarships to students and many others.
Though, Alhaji Ibrahim Siaka Duche was not having university education, but was gifted with wisdom and intelligent.
The business tycoon, late Alhaji Ibrahim Siaka Duche CEO of Dusak Global Services had Business associates from Singapore, Dubai ,India, Vietnam and other countries of the world.
Alhaji Duche was a practicing muslim, he loved travelling and reading.
Until his death , Alhaji Ibrahim Siaka Duche is survived by two wives and twelve children.
