The Deputy Governor of Kogi State Chief Edward Onoja says the Almighty God has been the helper of Governor Yahaya Bello for the past seven years.
Chief Onoja Stated this during a thanks giving service to Mark the seventh years anniversary of the present Administration in government house Chapel today in Lokoja.
According to the Deputy Governor, Governor Yahaya Bello has survived plot’s of detractors of the present Administration to providing infrastructure development cut across the state.
The success achieved so far is attributed to the support of the people stressing that the mission statement of his Principal Governor Yahaya Bello is promoting equity justice and purposeful leadership to the people of the state.
The Deputy Governor Chief Edward Onoja expressed gratitude to God, his Boss, the people of the state for granting him opportunity to serve and pledge total partnering with Governor Yahaya Bello to move the state to greater heights of transformation.
Chief Onoja said God has preserved him, family in the last seven years pointing out that Gods Covenant is true.
He called on the people of the state obey Gods commandment adding that Obident brings blessings to all in the society.
The Deputy Governor Chief Edward Onoja expressed gratitude to all religious leaders in the state for their prayers and support and reiterates determination of the present Administration in promoting religious harmony for continuing peaceful coeistence of the people in the state.
According to the Deputy Governor he enter into more partnership with God to serve God and the people of the state more in the years ahead.
In his sermon the Pastor government house Chapel Henry Asarepo Commended Governor Yahaya Bello for building a Chapel in Government House for Christians to worship and expressed confidence that the Favour of God shall not depart from the Governor Yahaya Bello and his Deputy Chief Edward Onoja.
The religious leader enjoined Christians to be sacrificial and work according to the word of God at all times to recieve his blessings.
According to him Christians are Called upon to sustain their prayers for the present Administration stressing that prayers remains key to the success of the society.
In his speech the state Security Advicer to the Governor Rt Commodore Jerry Omodara said God has been faithful to the present Administration noting that insecurity has reduced to it’s bearest minimum.
Retired Commodore Jerry Omodara announced that Kogi State has remain peaceful noting that know evil report shall prevail in Kogi State.
