On December 7, 2024, the Ambassador Gabriel Abinu Foundation organized a special reception at the Lawn Tennis section of Lokoja Club 1901 to honor Comrade Abdullahi Adamu, the Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government, along with other newly appointed members of the club. The event was a tremendous success, drawing together community leaders, local dignitaries, and residents to celebrate the remarkable achievements of these esteemed individuals.
The evening began with a warm welcome from Chief Ezenwajiaku Raymond, a representative of the Ambassador Gabriel Abinu Foundation. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to God and His Excellency, the people’s servant Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for the recent appointments. He also acknowledged all attendees for their unwavering support and dedication to community development. The atmosphere was filled with camaraderie as guests engaged in lively conversations, including Hon. Suleiman Danladi Aguye (representing Lokoja/Kogi/KKF Federal Constituency), Hon. Bin Bin-Ebaiya Shehu Tijjani (representing Lokoja State Constituency), Engr. Farouk Ymd (Commissioner for Water Resources), Hon. Isah Haruna, and Hon. Mohammed Shaba Kupa.
Among the distinguished members of Lokoja Club 1901 celebrated during the event were High Chief Femi Ajisafe (Member, Fiscal Responsibility Commission), High Chief Comrade Tom Abutu (Member, Fiscal Responsibility Commission), Chief Alh. Alhassan Ada Hussaini (Permanent Member 2, Kogi State Secondary Education), and Hon. Idris Musa (DG Mineral Resources, Kogi State). The excitement in the air was palpable as guests mingled and shared stories about their collective efforts to uplift the community.
