Ajileye, on Behalf of KW-TAKREP Leadership, Hails Karimi’s Primary Victory

Pastor Stanley Ajileye has, on behalf of the leadership of the Kogi West 4 Tinubu & Karimi Re-election Project (KW-TAKREP), described Senator Sunday Karimi’s victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primary as a triumph of democracy and the collective will of the people of Kogi West.
Ajileye made the position of the group’s leadership known in a statement titled, “Vox Populi, Vox Dei: The Voice of the People is the Voice of God,” in which he said the outcome of the primary election reaffirmed the enduring truth that when people unite behind a common cause, they become an unstoppable force.
Speaking on behalf of the group’s leadership, Ajileye said the victory was more than an individual political achievement, describing it as a victory for democracy and for the people of Kogi West, who had resolved to shape their own political destiny through unity and determination.
“The victory of Senator Karimi is not merely a personal triumph. It is a resounding victory for the good people of Kogi West, a victory for democracy, and a powerful testament to what determination, courage, and unity can achieve,” the statement read.
He noted that the people of Kogi West had spoken with one voice through peaceful democratic participation, proving that political power ultimately resides with the people when they remain united.
Ajileye also conveyed the leadership’s appreciation to the people of Kogi West and the APC for their steadfast commitment to democracy and the popular will throughout the primary election process.
While celebrating the victory, he stressed that the task ahead remained significant, urging party members and supporters not to relent as attention shifts to the general election.
“This is not yet Uhuru. The journey is not over. We must remain united, vigilant and resolute as we prepare for the general election. Together, we must defend our collective choice and protect every vote until victory is finally secured,” he stated.
The statement further called on all stakeholders to sustain the unity that delivered victory at the primary, emphasizing that continued cooperation would be crucial to achieving success in the forthcoming general election.
On behalf of the leadership of KW-TAKREP, Ajileye thanked supporters, volunteers, stakeholders and well-wishers for their sacrifices, commitment and unwavering belief in the project.
He expressed confidence that the same spirit of unity and determination that secured victory at the primary would propel the APC to greater success in the general election.
The statement concluded with prayers for God’s continued blessings upon Kogi West, the APC and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
