17 DAYS TO GO: DR. AGABA JOSEPH DAVID ANNOUNCED AS BOOK REVIEWER FOR OJN ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM

 

 

With just 17 days to go to the 7th OJN Annual Symposium, the organizers have unveiled Dr. Agaba Joseph David, PhD as the Book Reviewer for this year’s edition.

Dr. Agaba is a scholar, writer, and public affairs commentator with deep roots in governance, democracy, and youth development. He is a graduate of Political Science from Kogi State University, Anyigba. He obtained his http://M.Sc. from the prestigious University of Ibadan and earned his Ph.D. in Public Administration from Kogi State University, Anyigba.

He served most recently as Head of the Department of Political Science at Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba. He currently represents the Faculty of Social Sciences as Postgraduate Representative to the School of Postgraduate Studies at the same university.

Described as a prolific writer and accomplished orator, Dr. Agaba is a regular participant at both local and international conferences. He is also a motivational speaker, social critic, and youth mobiliser, using academia to bridge theory with community action.

Beyond the classroom, he serves as a consultant to various NGOs across Nigeria and is an active member of Amnesty International, contributing to conversations on human rights, civic engagement, and accountability.

His research interests cut to the heart of Nigeria’s democratic project and include democracy and governance, elections and democratic consolidation, and youth political participation.

Organizers say his selection as Book Reviewer aligns with the #StillRising theme of elevating voices that interrogate leadership, nation-building, and the role of young people in shaping the future.
