By joshua AJILEYE HAILS ODODO’S SECURITY INITIATIVES, PRAISES VISIT TO ILUKE ATTACK VICTIMS
Pastor Stanley Ajileye, Managing Director of Ekinrin-Adde Community Radio (Akogba FM) and a prominent political activist in Kogi State, has lauded Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for what he described as bold and proactive measures aimed at safeguarding lives and property across the state.
Ajileye particularly commended the governor’s investment in armoured vehicles and other security equipment to enhance the effectiveness of security agencies in combating banditry, kidnapping, and other criminal activities.
According to him, recent successes recorded in thwarting attacks by bandits on Ikoyi Community in Ijumu Local Government Area and Iluke in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area underscore the administration’s commitment to tackling insecurity.
He noted that the swift response of security agencies, backed by government support, has boosted public confidence and demonstrated that the state government is determined to confront criminal elements head-on.
Ajileye also praised Governor Ododo’s prompt condolence visit to families affected by the Iluke attack, describing the gesture as a demonstration of compassionate and people-oriented leadership.
“The Governor’s decision to personally visit and sympathize with the bereaved families showed empathy and genuine concern for the welfare of the people. Such leadership inspires confidence and reassures citizens that they are not alone in moments of grief,” he said.
Expressing optimism about the state’s future, Ajileye said he believes Governor Ododo possesses the resolve and determination needed to significantly reduce insecurity and restore lasting peace to communities across Kogi State.
He further prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and protection for the governor as he continues to lead efforts to secure the state.
Ajileye also urged residents to cooperate with security agencies by providing timely and credible information that could help prevent criminal activities and strengthen the fight against insecurity.
“With the support of the people and the grace of God, we are hopeful that Kogi State will continue to witness improvements in security and become safer for all residents,” he added.
