The Bunu kingdom is jubilant following a landmark victory in a long-standing land dispute between Aiyegunle Igun and Oke Bukun. His Royal Highness HRH Oba Sunday Toluwalagba Omodamori, the Obadofin of Aiyegunle Igun, emerged victorious in the court case, solidifying the kingdom’s unity and reinforcing the rule of law.

The court judgment, which affirms the rightful ownership of the land to Aiyegunle Igun, has been hailed as a victory for the entire Bunu kingdom. In a solidarity visit to Aiyegunle Igun, the royal fathers from Bunu kingdom, led by His Royal Highness Oba Elijah Meseko of Obaro Odo Ape, commended the court’s decision, emphasizing that it is a triumph for all.

“We see this judgment as a victory for all,” stated Oba Meseko. “We call for collective synergy and urge for enhanced security strategies to safeguard the entire Bunu land.”

During the visit, the royal fathers also appealed to Oba Timothy Ige Omonile, the Olubukun, to view the process as an opportunity for growth and development for the entire kingdom.
