Ahead Campaign Flag off For Yagba West Council Election: Kogi Commissioner For Environment Says APC will win all seats
The Kogi State Commissioner For Environment and Ecological Management, Engr. Oluwasegun Joseph has assured that all seats would be won for the All Progressives Congress Candidates in the October 19th Local Government Election in Yagba West.
The Commissioner gave the assurances ahead of the official flag off of the APC campaign while speaking with Newsmen in Egbe Yagba West at the weekend.
The Commissioner said all arrangements has been concluded for a hitch free flag off, described APC as the dominant Party in Yagba West LGA.
Engr. Joseph described Yagba West as a no go area for any political party, pointing out that Yagba West is APC and APC is strongly rooted in Yagba West.
He described the APC Chairmanship Candidate as tested and trusted, urged the people to turn out enmass and vote for all the APC candidates.
He said the program and policies of Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo since coming on board, particularly with the recent prompt payment of salaries, approval of N72,500 minimum wage and infrastructure development in Yagba West as reasons why the APC will win overwhelmingly.
He described Yagba West as a Local Government that has benefitted immensely from the past and present administration of APC in the State, reason why no vote would be wasted.
He mentioned the several ongoing road construction across the state, erosion control supervised by the Ministry of Environment, appointments and Empowerment for sons and daughters of the Local Government, as further reasons why, the people must deliberately protect their future and vote for the APC.
” We belong to the majority. We are happy with the APC. No one should be deceived. Let’s remain in the majority. We have so much to benefit in the future with APC. We have the best candidates. Let’s rally round all of them to win all the seats from Chairmanship to all the Councillorship seats in Yagba West”, the Commissioner appealed to the people.
