The Aguma of Tawari, Alhaji Idris Alhasan Yusuf says the commissioning of legacies project by President Muhammed Buhari is commendable.
Alhaji Idris A. Yusuf who’s a paramount traditional ruler in the area said the executed project are capital projects that will stand the test of time and described Governor Yahaya Bello as a performer.
The Aguma of Tawari Kingdom Alhaji Idris Alhasan Yusuf Stated this while speaking with News men in his palace in Tawari Kogi local government Area of the state during the Christmas and new year festivities.
According to the Royal father the purpose of governance is providing basic amenities to the people stressing that Governor Yahaya Bello has justified the mandate given to him by the people of Kogi State.
The Aguma, Commended President Muhammed Buhari for the commissioning and described him as a father to all Nigerians.
He appealed to the state government to upgrade his traditional stool from Second class to First class and other traditional rulers in the three Districts Tawari, Shedeme and Adingere to third class respectively.
Tawari Kingdom is an old dynasty were back from 1750 according to Mr. C. R. Niven on the general report of Kaba Province from Northern Provinces secretariat 1923 p.37-_38 paragraph 55.
The Monarch wishes President Muhammed Buhari, Governor Yahaya Bello and his Deputy Chief Edward Onoja and Engineer Abubakar Bashir Commissioner for solid mineral and natural resource more wisdom in good health to pilot the affairs of the state and country to greater heights.
Aguma reiterated his determination to sustain peaceful Coexistence of his subjects in his domain and called on the people of the area to remain supportive to the present Administration of Governor Yahaya Bello to develop the state.
The Aguma appealed to the state government to construct roads from Tawari via Sardauna to Toto, Toto Local government Area, in Nasarawa State,
Similarly, construction of rural roads from Okpereke to adingere via Uttu to Umaisha in Toto local Government Area, of Nasarawa state; also the construction of roads from Okpereke to OKofi via Kekere across Bassa Local government Area in Kogi East, of Kogi State.
If the constructions of these roads are done, the security challenges, internal crisis, Kidnappers, banditry will be a thing of the past and will now usher in and boost economic activities in the areas such as Agriculture, gold, mining, precious stones and lignite.
In addition, to increase the voting strength of Kogi Local government and Kogi state in general. The Royal Father Alh. Idris Alhasan Yusuf Tawari, have galvanized Tawari District, Shedeme District and Adingere District for forthcoming election, out of these six Districts of Kogi Local government Area, made up Koton karfe district, Gegu District and Girinya District were far back from 1917 that made up Kogi Local government Area today.
