A special appeal has been made on behalf of Dr. Sanusi Ohiare Volunteers, to all the stakeholders of the APC in Kogi State, the delegates and Gov. Yahaya Bello to consider the interest of the youths and future of the State by Adopt Dr. Sanusi Ohiare as the flag bearer of the APC in the forthcoming Primary election in the State.
Comr. Ibrahim Abdulrazak Imam, the Convener, DSO Volunteers Support Group, organisers of the dialogue made the appeal In an Opening Speech Delivered At Kogi Youth Dialogue Held At Youth House, Lokoja, Today 1°” APRIL 2023.
Comr. Ibrahim disclosed that the future of Kogi State resides solely on the strength of the youths, said it is imperative to chart the course for a youthful, visionary, intellectually inclined candidate with clarity of purpose such as Dr. Sanusi Ohiare.
The theme of the dialogue is ‘tittled: Kogi State Youth Dialogue with theme: Youths, Good Governance, Inclusiveness: Necessities for onward Kogi State.
The Convener described Dr. Sanusi as one that has great penchant for recognizing the potentials of the youths as ‘collaborators in the development process.
While pointing out that Dr. Sanusi Ohiare is a vibrant, progressive, energetic, experience, trusted and a charismatic leader per excellence who’s achievements has surpassed his age, said if given the opportunity to serve, the state would definitely consolidate on Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello’s achievements and deliver to us, the Kogi State of our dreams.
The Convener said the dialogue seeks to chat a way forward, to discuss the future of our the state as it lies on the strength of Youths, said the dialogue will come up with a comprehensive and result oriented agenda for onward Kogi State to be presented to Dr Sanusi Ohiare DSO.
The Group also said it would in the coming days officially present to Gov. Yahaya Adoza Bello and other relevant stakeholders of the APC in the state the need to elect Dr. Ohiare as the party’s Flagbearer and the benefits involved.
DSO Volunteers support group is the coming together of young, energetic and progressive youths of Kogi State drawn from all the 21 local governments who genuinely believe in the strength and capacity of youths to deliver and has found the ambition of Dr. Sanusi Ohiare DSO, a timely one and the best alternative for onward Kogi State.
The group paid glowing tributes to Gov. Yahaya Adoza Bello who has created chances for Kogi State Youths to strive and unleash their potential.
He disclosed that the level of youth inclusiveness in governance in Kogi State is second to none and this has a great effect on our socioeconomic development, solicited continuity of a youthful governor in Kogi State as way forward for onward Kogi State.
Dr Ohiare according to the Convener, is a government that values youth empowerment and inclusiveness as well as protect the overall interest of young and older people alike all his dealings.
