Christians have been enjoined to accept Christ for their salvation in the world hereafter.
A senior Pastor of the Christ Apostolic Church , Mounti of Peace Zango Danji, Oke Alafia ,Pastor Olumehi Joseph made called while speaking at the Sunday service with newsmen in lokoja.
Pastor Joseph whose message centered on” Life After Death” said Christ died for the sake of mankind for the redemption of the sake of mankind.
He disclosed that there would be judgment after death and appealed to Christians to clear their ways with God which he noted is the only way for salvation.
Pastor Joseph advised Christians to show true Christianity to the world not to hide under the canopy of religion to perpetrated evils.
At Saint John Anglican Church Zango Danji, Reverend Cannon Zaki Babajeremaih which topic is” Looking Forward for Church to Return with Hope” urged unbelievers of Christ to return back to God considering what is happening in our society today.
Cannon Babajeremaih added that no one fear God anymore in their dalies activities, kidnapping, Raping, Banditry, Corruption of kinds of evils are going round the world and this is a called for changing of actitude.
The clergy advised Christians to shun all forms of evils that are detremental to their religion believes on earth.
At Celestial Church of Christ, opposite Army Barracks lokoja, Pastor Isaac Olowokere prayed God to touch the hearts of enemies to change for better.
Pastor Olowokere admonished Christians to pray for the country and leader’s of authorities to lead well in any positions and commended governor of kogi State , Alhaji Yahaha Bello and his cabinet to continue to pilot the affairs of the state to an enviable height, adding that the governor has performed beyond reasonable doubt to curb activities of criminality in the state.
