The absence of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Expression of Interest Form, along with the party’s account details, has stalled the attempt by presidential aspirant Alhaji Lawal Beyero to obtain the form.

Speaking to the media on Monday, April 27, 2026, at the party’s National Secretariat, Beyero disclosed that he was unable to proceed with the purchase due to the unavailability of both the form and the official payment details.

It will be recalled that the ruling party had earlier announced April 25, 2026, as the commencement date for the sale of Expression of Interest forms. This announcement informed Beyero’s decision to visit the secretariat.
However, sources indicate that the aspirant could not obtain the form because it was not available, and no account details were provided for payment. This information was reportedly communicated to him by a protocol staff member in the Office of the Organizing Secretary.

The development has raised concerns among observers about the party’s readiness to make the forms accessible to all interested aspirants, although this has not been officially confirmed.

Despite the setback, Beyero expressed confidence that the APC, as a law-abiding party, would ensure a level playing field for all aspirants to exercise their constitutional rights.
Alhaji Lawal Beyero, a founding member of the APC, noted that many early members once considered youth have matured and continued to contribute significantly to the growth and progress of the party since 2014.
