Dear Fellow Nigerians,
As we welcome the New Year, I extend my heartfelt greetings and profound gratitude to every Nigerian who has shown remarkable courage and resilience in the face of immense challenges.
Despite the soaring cost of living, the aftermath of subsidy removal, foreign exchange adjustments, and the lingering effects of insecurity and inflation, you have stood strong.
Your determination and perseverance are the true strength of our nation.
2024 was undoubtedly challenging, but it was also a year of hard lessons and opportunities to reset our priorities.
The government has introduced several measures to address these challenges, including palliatives, local government financial autonomy, the introduction of CNG vehicles, and other economic reforms.
While these steps are a start, we recognize that much more needs to be done to ease the burdens of ordinary Nigerians.
As we step into 2024, let us remind ourselves that a New Nigeria is not just a dream—it is an achievable reality.
A Nigeria where good governance thrives, corruption is uprooted, and insecurity is a thing of the past.
A Nigeria where agriculture becomes a cornerstone of prosperity, and our natural and human resources are harnessed for the benefit of all.
To the government at all levels, I urge renewed focus on reducing the cost of governance, decisively tackling corruption, and making policies more people-oriented.
And to my fellow citizens, let us continue to believe in Nigeria and commit ourselves to its transformation.
Together, through collective effort and unwavering faith, we can build a Nigeria we will all be proud of.
May 2025 bring peace, progress, and prosperity to every Nigerian home.
Let us face this year with fresh hope, strength, and the unshakable belief that together, we can create the future we desire.
