RT. HON. PAUL GOWON HARUNA (IJN), CALLS FOR REVIEW OF GIFMIS AND E-PROCUREMENT IMPLEMENTATION IN THE OFFICE OF THE ACCOUNTANT GENERAL OF THE FEDERATION.

 

During today’s plenary session at the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Paul Gowon Haruna IJN, Member Representing Bassa/Dekina Federal Constituency, presented a motion for the urgent need to review the implementation of the Government Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS) and the E-procurement system within the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation. Hon. Paul Gowon Haruna underscored the importance of ensuring that these financial management tools function effectively to promote transparency, accountability, and efficiency in federal financial transactions. By calling for a review, he emphasized the need to assess and enhance these systems’ operational frameworks to meet current administrative demands and ensure optimal service delivery.
