However, to tap into this potential and surmount various socio-economic and infrastructural obstacles, it is essential to prioritize the greater good and set aside personal and partisan differences.
Your role as elected representatives comes with great responsibility, as you are entrusted with the task of enacting laws, shaping policies, and advocating for the needs of the people. We urge you to approach these responsibilities with diligence, integrity, and a profound sense of service to the people of Kogi State.
In the spirit of inclusiveness and transparency, we encourage you to actively engage with your constituents, attentively listen to their concerns, and seek their input in decision-making processes. He also urge the Speaker Rt Hon Umar Yusuf Aliyu on need to form a committee to organize a workshop for the newly house of assembly member-elect, the objective of this training is to expose members-elect to the functions of the National Assembly; its practices and procedures as well as the services available to them and also on legislative functions ahead of the imagination.
As you commence your tenure in the Kogi State House of Assembly, we wish you wisdom, courage, and resilience. May you diligently work towards fulfilling the hopes and dreams of the people you represent, and may your collective endeavors lead to a prosperous, inclusive, and vibrant Kogi State.
