The People of Ozongulo Ward of Bassa Local Government Area have been called upon to remain supportive of the present Administration in the state.
The Clan Head of Ozongulo Chief Jonathan Chabani made the call while addressing his subjects in his palace Kpanche community of Ozongulo ward.
Chief Chabani said complete loyalty is important to Governor Yahaya Bello administration noting that leaders is ordained by God.
The Traditional ruler said the youth participation in the current cabinet of the state is commendable noting that Governor Yahaya Bello has mentored lots of Youths for leadership.
Aguma Ozongulo Ward Chief Jonathan Chabani described the recent national award of Commander of Nigeria CON confered on Governor Yahaya Bello as well deserved stressing that his involvement in national politics of the country is speaking volume for him and the state.
According to him the honour is for all the Youths of Kogi State and called on him to sustain his passion serving the state and the country faithfully
Aguma Ozongulo called on the state government to create enabling environment for Youths of the Area thrive in their chosen Carriers stressing that the Youths remains pivotal to the development of society.
The Royal Father advise his subjects to embrace love and peace adding that constructive ideas will transform the community and wipe out the era of greed.
Chief Jonathan Chabani how ever appealed to state government to improve on the security architecture of Bassa Local Government especially Bassa kwomu district, lamenting that the incisant killings of Bassa people in recent time is not acceptable.
He called on the state government to always check on activities of local government Area chairmen pointing out that the sole responsibility of local government chairmen is protection of lives and prosperity and compliment state government efforts in the area.
The Clan Head maintained that the idea of council Chairmen not coming to office regularly for his official engagement at headquarters of the local government is not good for the citizens adding that the chairman is holding the people’s Mandate.
Chief Jonathan Chabani prayed God to grant Governor Yahaya Bello and his Deputy Chief Edward Onoja wisdom in piloting the affairs of the state to greater heights.
The Traditional ruler appealed to sons and daughters of the area to close rank forget their differences for the development of the Area.
The Royal father said the Local Government Area is lacking in basic amenities and appealed to the State Government to construct Oguma Sheria community bridge and construct Oguma Sheria Kpanche ikende road to enable farmers transport their farm produce to urban areas.
