OICC Organises One Million Man Solidarity March For Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo Kogi APC Governorship Candidate


…. Says We Are Working to Deliver A Million Vote For Alhaji Ododo – Hon Mustapha Mohammed RANI Director- General.

The Ododo Independent Campaign Council has embarked on a one-million man Solidarity March to launch the campaign for the Gubernatorial candidate of the Kogi State All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman a.k.a OAU.

The theme of the March: “A walk for Renewed Hope in Kogi State”, was held yesterday Saturday 13th May 2023 took the over a million man march through the streets of Lokoja the State Capital.

According to Hon Mustapha Mohammed RANI, Director- General OICC, while speaking with Newsmen after the March, says it aims at drumming support for the APC Flagbearer.

Hon Mustapha Mohammed RANI described the APC Flagbearer as renewed hope for the people of Kogi State in terms of opportunities, infrastructure development, urged the people to see the APC candidate as the New face of consolidation after the tenure of Gov. Yahaya Bello.

 

While pointing out that Kogi State under Gov. Bello has experienced a new dawn under Gov. Bello, but assured that Alhaji Ododo would take development of the State to another level.

 

The Director General OICC described Alhaji Ododo as humble, experience, has capacity and competence as his staying power, expressed optimism that having learnt the ropes, he will hit the ground running.

According to the Director General ” If capacity and competence to consolidate on the achievements of Gov Bello is the yardstick for November governorship election, I make bold to say that there is no vacancy in Lugard House”, described the APC and Ododo as what Kogi State needs moving forward.

The Director General described the forthcoming November governorship election as a watershed, says it is not a time to experiment, reasons why the one million man march is a signal that Alhaji Ododo would coast home to victory, urged others who are still standing on the fence to come join the train for development.

The supporters of the APC candidate from across the 21 LGAs converge at the Lokoja International Market for prayers before the march to the Lokoja Stadium through all the streets in the metropolis.

Highlights of the March was the distribution of campaign materials, face caps, Tshirts and other souvenir with the inscription of Alhaji Ododo, assuring that he has all it takes to offer quality leadership if elected.
