Kogi State Governorship Aspirant, Asiwaju Asiru Idris has supported Olajide Femi Peters to secure a visa to participate in world indoor Championship coming up in Itally Schengen.
Femi Peters is Kogi born indigenous Sprinter of Nigeria athletic Master NAM, praised Asiwaju Idris for supporting young talents in achieving their goals.
Femi Peters has won several Medals from Poland, Tunisia, Access Bank international Marathon, and Okpepe International Marathon, has contributed his quota to the development of youths and Sports.
Presently he got a visa to Itally Schengen for world indoor championship .
Upon getting this opportunity he was financially handicapped, wrote a letter to Ministry of Youth and Sports, Kogi State but all to no avail as there was on positive outcome.
Upon his visit to former Commissioner For Finance Budget and Economic Planning Kogi State, Asiwaju Idrs to seek for a helping hands, luck speaks upon hearing about the Visa, by Hon. Chief Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris and he was assisted with the sum of #250,000 in support of his journey to Itally.
” I’m happy for this great gestures and I wish to commend the Asiwaju Idris for his efforts to support our talented youths .
” We need people of his type that have compassion for Youths to be Governor of the State after Gov. Yahaya Bello.
