By November, the people of Kogi State will be electing a new Governor to pilot the affairs of Kogi State for the next four years.
If anything is true, it is the fact that since APC took charge of the State in 2016, the State has never seen a most “worse yesterday”, this is because it keeps getting worse and worse almost everyday in the State with APC in charge of the State.
Kogi State is blessed with tens of natural resources including human resources but the State is blighted by bad leadership since 2016 that APC took charge of the State.
November 2023 is the next opportunity the people of Kogi State have to get it right and to right the wrongs of governance in the State. One can only hope that the opportunity is grabbed with both hands and utilised to the fullest.
To start with, there is the primary election stage where parties nominate flag-bearers.
In PDP, there are alot of good materials, no doubt, but in Barrister Kabiru Usman, there is the man that fits the need, the need to take Kogi State from the grip, whims and caprice of APC, the need to begin to correctly utlise the resources of the State, the need to give better life to the people of Kogi State.
For these reasons and many more, it is a strong appeal in the strongest possible terms to the Kogi PDP delegates that when they assemble in Lokoja, Kogi State capital, on April 13/April 14 to elect flag-bearer for the Kogi State PDP ahead of the November Governorship election, that they vote for Barrister Kabiru Usman.
Barrister Kabiru Usman is a committed and loyal party-man who has been through the trenches of party-politics and has served even meritoriously as National Legal Adviser of the PDP, hence he understands the depth of responsibility of what it means to be on the PDP ticket especially at a time like this that Kogi State is yearning for rescue from the APC.
Barrister Kabiru Usman is a detrabilised Kogite. He is ahome in all of the 21 Local Government Areas of the State. He has what it takes to match the APC to the very end and secure a victory for PDP and the good people of Kogi State across the 21 Local Government Areas of the State if he is elected the flag-bearer of the PDP.
The PDP delegates are at the very threshold of history, they can’t afford to gamble this opportunity even for any sentiment whatsoever, they owe the good people of Kogi State Barrister Kabiru Usman as the good people of Kogi State trust that Barrister Kabiru Usman is the best man to lead the charge to go head-to-head with APC when the roll is called in November.
On March 18, 2023; PDP did it in Zamfara State, PDP did it in Plateau State. With Barrister Kabiru Usman, PDP will do it in Kogi State in November.
